Dr. Lisa Marie Pate is a Washington licensed naturopathic physician. She received her medical degree from Bastyr University, the nation’s leading naturopathic medical school and completed most of her clinical internship from Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Washington. Bastyr is one of six accredited naturopathic medical schools in the United States offering a four-year, graduate level naturopathic medical training program with educational standards recognized and approved by the US Department of Education. Dr. Pate is highly educated holding two bachelor degrees, a masters and a doctorate. She began her schooling at the University of Washington where she completed her pre-medical courses. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Bastyr University and continued on to obtain her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She also has a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in nursing and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

As a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Pate utilizes the healing power of nature to maintain and restore health in her clients. Every illness has an underlying cause, often an aspect of the lifestyle, diet or habits of an individual, Dr. Pate is trained to find and remove those underlying causes of disease. The overall goal of naturopathy is to prevent illnesses from developing into more serious, chronic or degenerative diseases and Dr. Pate educates her clients on the principles with which to live a healthy life so that they can prevent major illnesses.

Dr. Pate has spent over 17 years working in women’s health (perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, PMDD) and with those who suffer from autoimmune conditions, chronic fatigue, mold illness, Lyme disease and many others. She also spent over 800 student clinical hours in Washington State as a primary care provider dedicated to women’s health (PCOS, infertility, perimenopause, menopause, hormone balancing, and more), nutritional counseling, exercise prescription and chronic illness, such as chronic fatigue syndrome and Fibromyalgia.
